Position: Hospitality Manager

 Location: BurgerFuel Napier, 70 Carlyle Street, Napier 4112
 Pay Rate: $27.50–$31.00/hour
 Minimum Hours: 35 per week

Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for organising and controlling the daily operations of a fast-paced retail food establishment. This includes both traditional retail management functions and overseeing our restaurant-style service delivery. 

You will:
• Lead and supervise a team of 5–15 staff across shifts, including kitchen and front-of-house.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth workflow.
• Oversee staff rosters, training, and performance to maintain a high-functioning team.
• Implement and monitor operational policies, health & safety standards, food handling protocols, and Operational systems standards.
• Coordinate stock control, purchasing, and budgeting to meet business targets.
• Plan menus & preparation lists in consultation with chefs and organise special promotional products or catering events.
• Handle customer queries and feedback, ensuring a consistent and high-quality dining experience.
• Maintain financial records, including sales reports, inventory, and staff costs.

Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a hospitality or food retail environment.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work across weekends, nights, and public holidays.
