Burger Militia is looking for someone who is keen to learn and progress.

We are a group of 5 BurgerFuel franchises with around 90 employees led by BurgerFuel’s first Franchisee who has been in the burger game for 24 years and is passionate about helping people grow.

You may already be in a supervisory or management position, but feel you are ready to take the next step, learn some new skills and develop your career in management.  Or you could be earlier in your journey and ready to take the leap and start learning management skills.  The important ingredient is the desire to learn and progress.

Our management structure starts at Shift Manager, moves into 3rd Assistant Manager then 2nd Assistant Manager and through these positions we teach all the skills needed to join our next generation of Shop Managers.  Where you join will depend on your current level of experience.

Successful candidates will understand that Hospitality Management can be rewarding and fun, but not without its challenges.  You’ll need to be available to work nights and weekends (no crazy after midnight stuff though!), thrive on the pressure of a busy service and be open to feedback.  You’ll need to pick up the mop, serve customers and work the grills regularly and training team members never stops.

For this intake, we are looking for someone who is available to start their journey with us at our Silverdale branch where we have a team of great individuals pumping out burgers and delighting customers to create one of the top 5 BurgerFuel stores in NZ.  Your transport situation will need to be sorted (your own car plus full license is ideal).

Hourly rates for the role depend on your current level of development and range from $24 to $28 per hour.  We operate a published scale of rates matched to roles which is reviewed regularly to ensure you always know what your next step is.
